The four-star hotel in Saanenland has totally renovated, modernised and refurnished its eight suites. They all have new bathrooms and are also equipped with cable-free LAN. Guests booking two nights in one of the “new” suites get to enjoy the exclusive Touareg-Special. The new Touareg is an exciting combination of outstanding off-road capability, sporty dynamics and pure luxury. In the course of their stay, guests will discover the Touareg’s versatility – the suite price includes all transfers, such as trips to the station, the ski resorts, the shops and other destinations. All additional services are naturally included in the normal overnight rate. Steigenberger VIP guests will be able to enjoy the beauty of Switzerland from the comfort of a Touareg. Accompanied by an experienced, multi-lingual driver, the pre-arranged excursions will take visitors to historical towns and along beautiful scenic routes.

The “Touareg” offer includes four nights in a suite for two people, with a breakfast buffet and a five-course a-la-carte meal in the evenings. Guests can also enjoy all the advantages of the Wellness and Fitness areas, such as the Bio-sauna, Finnish sauna, steam room, swimming pool and the fitness centre, as well as fascinating guided walks. The suites can be booked from 8th March to 4th July from approx. 1200 Euros.

Lugano remains firmly within the Swiss route network, with four daily services offered in each direction between Lugano and Zurich. The Dash 8-300 aircraft operated by regional carrier Cirrus Airlines feature both Business Class and Economy Class seating and will fly the well-established schedules between the two cities. Cirrus Airlines will operate these services under a “wet lease” agreement, i.e. providing both the aircraft and the cockpit and cabin crews.
The 50-seat Dash 8-300 is certificated to perform the steep approaches required for Lugano Airport, and is able to perform instrument approaches and landings. The new equipment will thus provide a firmer guarantee that services can be operated even during fog or other adverse weather.

Following the introduction of new stricter approach regulations for Lugano Airport last November, and in view of the expiration at the end of June 2004 of the special regulations covering the visual approaches currently performed, Swiss’s Saab 2000s would not always be able to offer such reliability, as they are not certificated to perform instrument approaches to Lugano. Swiss’s Avro RJs, which are occasionally used on the route, are also unable to comply with the new regulations.

In Cirrus Airlines, Swiss has teamed up with a top-class partner which already has experience of operations to and from Lugano: the carrier, which is domiciled in Saarbrücken, Germany, already operates services on the Lugano - Geneva route.

America
As of 16 May SN Brussels Airlines offers its clients a daily service to New York JFK Airport. The flight is operated by our code share partner American Airlines. Thanks to this new route passengers can not only fly non-stop to the Big Apple, but also several other destinations in the States and in the North American Region can now be reached with a hassle-free stop-over at JFK Airport. SN Brussels Airlines will put its code on the American Airlines flights from New York to Boston, Washington National, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Raleigh-Durham, San Jose, San Juan Puerto Rico, Orange County (Santa Ana), San Francisco, SAN en Miami.

Moscow and St Petersburg
SN Brussels Airlines further increases its presence on the Eastern European market by adding two fascinating cities to its network. Moscow, the capital of Russia, is linked five times weekly with Brussels as of 28th of March. SN will also fly twice weekly to St. Petersburg, the world’s most Northern major city and the cultural treasure of Russia. Thanks to the flight schedule and the convenient travel times of these new direct services a travel combination of Moscow and St Petersburg is perfectly possible.

Oporto
The city of Oporto, built along the hillsides over looking the mouth of the Douro river and world famous for its historical character and Port wine is more than just a tourism destination. The city will also this summer be in the picture thanks to the European Football Championship, reason enough for SN Brussels Airlines to start own flight operations as of May. SN flights, leaving from Brussels at 9h40 will be offered together with the existing code share flight of partner Portugalia.

Turkey
Turkey will not only host the Euro Song Contest this spring, Istanbul Ataturk’s airport will also welcome SN Brussels Airlines flights. As of the 1st of March SN flies 3 times weekly between the European Capital and Istanbul. As of April Istanbul and Brussels are connected daily with an Airbus 319 in business and economy class configuration. The flight schedule is ideal for city breaks in the Turkish ‘metropolis’ that serves as the bridge between East and West and a cradle of ancient civilisations.

Casablanca
Since Christmas SN Brussels Airlines connects Brussels with Casablanca (Morocco). This flight offer quickly became very successful. Reason enough for SN Brussels Airlines to expand frequencies and capacity. During the Easter Period and the July-August holiday season an Airbus 319 will fly daily between Brussels and Casablanca. In partnership with Royal Air Maroc up to three daily flights are scheduled on this very busy route.

More Frequencies
More frequencies are offered this summer to Bilbao and Rome. Bilbao will be linked twice a day with the European capital as opose to one daily flight. This new schedule allows day returns to Brussels and meets the needs of the business traveller better. Long weekends in the heart of the Basque region now become possible as well.

A new late departure from Brussels to Rome (SN 3187, 20h35) and an early departure from Rome to Brussels (SN 3188, 06h45) will certainly be welcomed by our time sensitive passengers. In total, SN and its code share partner Alitalia now fly up to six times daily between Brussels and Rome.

EU enlargement
As of 1st of May, the European Union will be enlarged with new member states. SN Brussels Airlines, the only full service airline that operates out of the European capital, will offer its clients this summer flights to five of these new members (Budapest Hungary, Prague Czech Republic, Warsaw Poland, Larnaca Cyprus, Vilnius Lithuania). As of March 28 the code share arrangement with LOT on the Warsaw route will discontinue and SN will fly twice daily with own aircraft.

Marseille-Geneva
Until recently people who wanted to travel between Marseille and Geneva had to drive by road. Thanks to SN Brussels Airlines the biggest port of France and the financial and diplomatic centre of Switzerland are now linked by air in just 1 hr 10 minutes. The Marseille-Geneva service will operate throughout the summer season on weekdays.

Africa
Since December, SN Brussels Airlines flies with its comfortable Airbus 330-300 weekly on Sunday to one of the most beautiful beach destinations in the world: Mombasa (Kenya). These flights will be offered throughout the summer season. Including Mombasa the African network of SN consists of 14 destinations.

Innovative all inclusive catering
This summer season a completely new economy class catering concept will be launched. While other airlines abolish or decrease their free catering offer, SN invests and gives its passengers even more value for money. Thanks to the new ‘Brussels Bistro’ concept all passengers in economy class will enjoy tasty salads, original dishes, sandwiches, hot breakfasts or hot meals on all flights. Drinks are on the crew and on all flights a newspaper selection is offered as well.

The Park Inn Maribo Soepark offers 107 rooms and 3 suites, most of them overlooking the lake. All rooms offer free internet access through wireless LAN. Other facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and sauna as well as a restaurant and a bar and an 18-hole golf course close to the hotel.
