SWISS offers an additional 10 000 lowest-fare seats

More chances for quick-bookers: SWISS is offering a further 10 000 seats at the lowest possible fares on its European network. And, in addition to its permanently low prices in Europe, the carrier is also offering special promotional fares on long-haul services from January 18 to March 28.

SWISS is substantially raising the chances for early bookers to obtain the lowest possible fares by making a further 10 000 seats on its European network available at these prices from , January 15. The offer is valid while stocks last. SWISS offers service to 41 European destinations at permanently low prices, from Moscow to Lisbon and from Dublin to Athens. The earlier the booking, the more attractive the fare will be: the number of lowest-fare tickets is limited, and they are available on a first come, first served basis.

Swiss Winter Savers SWISS is offering special promotional fares to selected long-haul destinations this winter, too. The Swiss Winter Savers, which are available to the USA, Africa, Asia and the Middle East and permit a maximum stay of one month, can be booked between January 18 and March 28 for outward travel by March 28.

Geneva International Airport: New Flights to Marseilles with SN Brussels Airlines

As of 1 March, it will once again be possible to travel from Geneva to Marseilles by air, thanks to SN Brussels Airlines, which will be making a daily flight five times a week.

SN Brussels Airlines is Belgium’s largest airline and already has a presence at Geneva International Airport, from where it flies four times a day to Brussels. It will link Geneva to Marseilles Provence airport, one of its destinations from the Belgian capital.. A service of this kind, known as a “seventh freedom”, is possible because of bilateral agreements between Switzerland and the European Union. SN Brussels Airlines is one of the very first European airlines to make use of these new rights.

Marseilles no longer needs any introduction: it is France’s second city and the country’s largest port, the gateway to Provence and all its tourist charms, and also the centre of an economically highly dynamic region.

The new air route will be operated using AVRO Regional Jets, which have 84 leather-clad seats. SN Brussels Airlines operates 32 aircraft of this type, the largest fleet of its kind in Europe.

During the flight, which takes just over an hour, passengers will be able to enjoy a free snack, drinks and newspapers. Members of the “Privilege” frequent-flyer program will be able to earn and redeem miles on the route - and on 700 others. SN Brussels Airlines makes more than 285 flights every day to 54 European cities, 14 destinations in Africa, and Chicago.

SWISS again “Best Airline to North & South America"

Germany’s Business Traveller magazine has named SWISS Best Airline to North & South America for the second year running in its 2004 Business Traveller Awards. The Swiss-based carrier also won first place in the awards’ “Ground Personnel” category for the Germany & Europe region. SWISS is delighted to have earned such further recognition from German-based frequent flyers through these prestigious annual awards.

Over 3 000 respondents took part in Business Traveller magazine’s annual reader poll in autumn 2003. The publication’s readers voted SWISS best carrier to North & South America both overall and in the individual “Ground Personnel”, “Inflight Personnel” and “Food & Drink” categories. Switzerland’s national airline also earned top honours in the “Ground Personnel” category for the Germany & Europe region.

The German-based frequent flyers who read Business Traveller are invited to cast their votes every year on their personal experience of airlines they have used.
