SN Brussels Airlines adds Bukarest to its network thanks
to code-share agreement with Tarom Romanian Air Transport
SN Brussels Airlines further expands its presence in
Central Europe thanks to a codeshare-agreement with Tarom
Romanian Air Transport. SN can offer its clients now 10
weekly flights, all operated by Tarom, between the European
capital and Bukarest.
Starting 1st of December, SN Brussels Airlines will put
its well known ‘SN’ flight code on the existing
services of Tarom Romanian Air Transport between Brussels
Zaventem Airport (code: ‘BRU’) and Bukarest
(code: ‘OTP’). Thanks to this new partnership,
clients of SN Brussels Airlines can travel now direct between
the capital of Europe and the capital of Romania on a daily
base and even twice daily on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
This flight schedule is perfect for the needs of business,
government and leisure travellers. Thanks to the convenient
flight hours numerous onwards connections are possible to
several European destinations operated by SN ex Brussels
or by Tarom ex Bukarest.
All flights will be operated by Tarom with state of the
art Boeing 737 (business and economy class configuration).
Tarom’s inflight service reveals its status as a full
service airline with free catering in both business and
economy class.
“This new partnership will enable us to approach
the Romanian market pro-actively before the country’s
possible entry into the European Union in 2007”, says
SN Brussels Airlines Executive Vice President Network Erik
Follet.
Tarom celebrates this year its 50th anniversary as the
national airline of Romania and operates a fleet of Boeing
737 and ATR aircraft. Tarom has partnership agreements with
11 other airlines.
