SWISS First "à la carte"

Swiss SWISS First passengers can look forward to enjoying an even greater degree of individualisation and personal care from the first week of March 2011 when SWISS introduces its new inflight service concept for those who appreciate air travel at its finest.

In further demonstrating its commitment to providing a consistently sterling First Class product throughout the service chain, SWISS will introduce a revised meal service that is more closely aligned than ever to customer needs; the airline will also provide an even greater level of comfort with a range of inflight items having a distinctive new look and feel. At the same time, the new inflight service available to SWISS First customers will ensure a more tranquil and restful environment and accent passengers' individuality, thereby extending the notion of "personal care" that forms the core of the SWISS service philosophy.

Specifically, certain SWISS signature items such as Swiss artisanal cheese, Balik salmon and other hallmark specialities will be showcased more effectively. An "il la carte" meal format that facilitates faster service will be implemented on night flights. A range of simpler choices will also be introduced in response to requests from SWISS's most loyal customers. Other luxury comfort items to be phased in during 2011 include new amenity kits and pyjamas and, on daytime flights, an enhanced blanket/pillow combination. The selection of magazines available will be improved to provide a more eclectic choice of reading material.
