The World’s Widest Full-Flat Business Class Seat
Developed together
with James Park Associates, the same designers who gave the Eastern & Orient
Express its opulent interior, the Singapore Airlines new Business Class product
is the largest ever to be introduced in the airline industry.
Measuring 30-inches (76 cm) in width, the new Business Class seat is almost 50 per cent wider than most products in this class. The innovative design allows the new product to be converted into one of the largest full flat bed in its class. The 76-inch (193cm) long bed with a generous 30-inch (76 cm) width enables customers to sleep in their natural sleeping positions.
The unrivalled space between each seat, ensuring you direct access to the aisle, is a hallmark of our unique 1-2-1 forward facing cabin layout. Designed with a contemporary colour scheme and enhanced by intelligent mood lighting, your surroundings exude an aura of unmistakable sophistication.
Available on all A380 / B333-700ER / A340-500 aircrafts (i.e. ZRH-SIN / CDG-SIN / LHR-SIN / SIN-SYD v.v.)

Singapore Airlines - First to fly the A 380
The most comfortable, spacious and quiet aircraft to ever take to the skies, the Singapore Airlines A380 brings you travel in a new light.
Bonjour Singapore
Airlines - A380!
From 1 June 2009, Singapore Airlines will fly the world’s largest passenger
plane, the Airbus A380, on its Singapore-Paris route.
The daily A380 flights between Singapore and Paris will replace the existing 10 times weekly 278-seat Boeing 777-300ER Paris is the fourth A380 destination, its first in Continental Europe, and its second in Europe after London. Singapore Airlines already flies the A380 daily to Sydney and Tokyo, and twice a day to London.
A-380 First Class Cabin
The Singapore
Airlines Suites, exclusively available onboard the A380, provide a privileged
few with their very own haven of tranquility. Luxuriate in the largest ever
seat; a lavish armchair hand-stitched by master Italian craftsmen Poltrona Frau.
At up to 35 inches across, your seat is unsurpassed in comfort and space. With a sundeck position, adjustable headrest and armrests, and simple electronic controls, lounge in luxury in the most exclusive seat in the sky. Or for the first time ever, experience the pleasure of sleeping on a standalone bed; not one converted from a seat. Along with our signature turn-down service, fine linen and full-sized pillows, you are assured of restful slumber. With only 12 extraordinary suites, available to the most discerning guests on each of our A380 aircraft, the Singapore Airlines Suites is truly in a class beyond first – a class that is yours alone.
New Destinations: Kuwait and Riyadh
On the 14th December 2008, Singapore Airlines launched its inaugural flight to Riyadh. Singapore Airlines will begin a four-times-weekly service to Kuwait from 15 March 2009. Flying via Abu Dhabi, the service will operate on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, using Boeing 777-200 aircraft. The addition of Kuwait to the Singapore Airlines network comes after the conclusion and signing of a broad Open Skies Agreement between Singapore and Kuwait last month. Kuwait will be Singapore Airlines’ 68th destination, across 36 countries, and provides another destination for customers looking to experience the vibrancy of souks, the elegance of Middle Eastern cuisine and the warmth of Arabian hospitality.
