Depending on their booking class or customer status Lufthansa passengers have access to First Class, Senator or Business Lounges, e.g. in Frankfurt, Munich, New York and Washington D.C., offering internet access, high-quality showers and an exclusive selection of hot and cold dishes. From summer 2011 on, there will be more comfort in the Lounges in Frankfurt, Munich, Boston, Dubai and Delhi including Wellness-Areas and City Lights Bars.
Lufthansa A380 – the new star of our fleet

the new First Class with eight seats, the Business Class with 98 seats on the upper deck and the 420-seat Economy Class on the main deck provide more comfort than ever before in an impressively spacious cabin. The Lufthansa A380 fleet links major hubs primarily on the heavily frequented routes to Asia and North America and is constantly extended.

Actively meeting eco-political challenges
The reconciliation of economic interests and environmental responsibility is enshrined in Lufthansa’s corporate principles. Good examples of how we fulfil this responsibility and strive for a continual improvement in the environmental balance are the investments in a low-emission and fuel-efficient fleet, plus the many functional environmental and efficiency measures in place in our airline operations and on the ground. That is why there are clearly defined targets to reduce CO2 emission.
