LOT Polish Airlines is celebrating its 80th anniversary making it to one of the pioneers of the aviation business. Many things have changed during the past 80 years. One thing has remained stable: the passion for flying. One of the youngest and most modern fleets in the industry as well as pilots being world- and European-champions in almost all disciplines in aviation is the prove.
Its emblem, a stylized crane, is recognized almost everywhere as the symbol of the Polish flag carrier.

Fleet

LOT currently operates a fleet of

• 7 wide-body Boeing 767s,
• 8 single aisle B737s,
• 6 Embraer 175s,
• 10 Embraer 170s (LOT was the launch carrier for this type),
• 9 Embraer 145s and 14 ATRs, offering two-class service (Economy and Business) on all international flights.
• ATR-72, ATR-42

LOT will be the first network carrier in Europe to fly Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The 787 will revolutionize the customer experience for LOT’s passengers. They will enjoy an innovative new interior environment with higher humidity, wider seats and aisles, and larger windows, greatly improving the overall flying experience.

Network

Modern fleet and developed network of connections comprising a majority of important cities in Western and Central and Eastern Europe and also USA and Canada are strong assets of LOT. The present network of LOT Polish Airlines’ scheduled flights covers 60 cities in Europe and beyond, plus 8 within Poland.

LOT - Polish Airlines expanded its route network with 4 new connections. LOT's passengers will benefit from direct flights from Zurich via Warsaw to Gothenburg, Bratislava, Tallinn, and Beirut.

The route to Tallinn will start effective of 10th of May.
Starting from 1st June, the flight frequency between Warsaw and Katowice will also be increased to 3 times daily.

Line of Champions

Pilots are one of the unquestionable assets of LOT Polish Airlines. For many years, Polish pilots, including the pilots of LOT Polish Airlines have been recognized as the best pilots in the world. They proved it many times when they won top awards at the Word and Europe Championships. They participate in all air sport disciplines from hot-air ballooning to aerial acrobatics. Many of them are judges and jurymen during air competitions, which proves that their skills and experience are recognized.
